What's New - 4/28/2018

* As of this update, the Forest of Shadows will be covered in fog.

The fog is not ENTIRELY this thick, as it does clear up significantly as the player progresses.

* Miroden Castle, sometimes called "the white castle" by its residents, has been added:

Pun intended.

There's nothing of serious plot importance to be found, and is intended simply as an additional location the player can explore. Also, it is the only castle in the game to have shops inside that the player can buy from.

* Vhespia will now have an "early morning" effect the first time the player sees it (which is when they leave Ami's house to begin their quest).

This effect will last for roughly 15 seconds or so and will slowly transition into normal daylight. If a player enters a house or leaves the village it will skip the transition.

What's New - 4/19/2018

*A new side-quest has been introduced that centers around the Mayor of Megarah (who was formerly the Mayor of Sepious until he quit in protest to Ami winning the Terror Tower event) being taken hostage shortly after Ami's party first arrives in Megarah. For his release, the kidnappers require the Sylina's Sapphire, a very valuable gemstone. The player has the choice of either accepting or rejecting the request to make the exchange. If they accept, the party will have to go deep inside a sealed, pitch-dark cave (that also renders all magic useless) to find the kidnappers.

If the player rejects the request, the game will continue on as normal. However, the Cavern will remain sealed, preventing the player from obtaining a very powerful shield as well as the numerous chests that are inside the cave.

*I'm experimenting with different graphics (such as locations or chapter titles) to see what looks good and what doesn't. I'm considering something like this for chapter titles;
